Over the last couple of weeks, in partnership with our friends at Rapha Custom, we’ve been running a design competition. Participants get the opportunity to design to a brief, with the lucky winner of each round scoring a set of Rapha Pro Team kit in their design, plus a set for four of their friends (five sets in total).
We’ll be announcing the winner of the previous round – ‘the next CyclingTips kit’ – shortly, but before that, we wanted to give you a jump-start on the design theme for the final week of the competition.
YOUR DESIGN BRIEF
The spring classics are done, and we’re now entering the Grand Tours. Next weekend, the Giro d’Italia kicks off in Bologna, and for the next three weeks, the country of Italy will be the canvas for the peloton to practice their art.
We want you to design a kit that represents the Giro d’Italia.
Interpret that however you wish: it could be a design that draws on the heritage of the race, or its colour palate, or an iconic racer or stage or climb.
The final winner will be judged by a rider from EF–Education First, and it could be you pedalling away in Rapha Custom kit of your own design!
You’ve got until Wednesday 8 May to get your designs in, with the winner announced on Friday 10 May.
Good luck! You can submit your designs here:
