If your love of cycling is surpassed only by your love for good food, you can now have both. An Italian cycling holiday co-hosted by American chefs and food critics is offered by Tourissimo.

The week-long tours include the participants and the winners of the “Top Chef” culinary competition program and are tailor-made to meet the needs of cyclists of all abilities.


A tour of June 4 visits the areas of production of some of the most famous foods in Italy, including tortellini, Parma ham, balsamic vinegar and Parmigiano-Reggiano. The itinerary starts from the castle of Tabiano Terme and continues on the Po plain, the town of Porretta Terme and Bologna.

On a June 12 tour, participants will leave Ferrara, visit the Po delta, Ravenna and Rimini, a tourist resort on the Adriatic Sea.
