Selle Italia is proud to announce the arrival of a special Mathieu van der Poel signature edition of their $400 Flite Boost Kit Carbonio SuperFlow saddle. Three decades after the original Flite was introduced, Selle Italia has continued evolving the design from the original that became one of the most famous in saddle history.
The smart looking 160 gram (wide) saddle is made in Italy and will make its debut at this weekend’s Tour of Flanders where the young star of the peloton is widely expected to be among the leaders at the finish.
With it’s over 120 year history as a saddle maker, Selle Italia has of course been a legend in the pro peloton for decades for their performance driven designs and quality construction. At 248mm/10 inches in length, the MVDP signature saddle is another in the line of compact “power” saddles with a flat surface design and is available in two widths: S-135mm or L-145mm. The 7x9mm carbon/keramic rails are printed with a handy measuring guide to help ensure proper positioning.
